Grab a paddle and hold the root beer... This is not your usual ice cream float! This is a 4 mile trip by canoe or kayak down the Winooski River followed by a maple creemee, cider donuts, and apple cider. This self-guided trip down the river (supported by Umiak Outfitters) is gentle and slow-moving. It is perfect for beginner paddlers. As you float slowly through Vermont farmland, you will be awed by views of the Green Mountains towering above you. Top it off with a sample of maple-flavored ice cream from Cold Hollow Cider Mill and you have a float you'll always remember!
